  • Neon is expensive to produce, use and maintain.
  • Neon has a limited life span and performance is subject to cold weather.
  • LEDs are less expensive to produce and remarkably cost effective to run and maintain.
  • LEDs use only a small percentage of the electricity that is required of NEON lighting.
  • Manufacturing of LED does not require the use of mercury, a hazardous material that is extensively used in the manufacturing of Neon.
